Revo™ is a dynamic new measuring head and probe system from Renishaw. A revolutionary new product designed to maximise CMM throughput while maintaining high system accuracy. Unlike conventional scanning methods, which rely on speeding up the motion of the CMM's 3 axes in order to scan quickly, Revo™ uses synchronised motion, and Renscan5™ five axis scanning technology, to minimise the dynamic errors of CMM motion at ultra high scanning speeds. Up to 500 mm/s is possible without accuracy penalties.
The Revo™ measuring head features ultra stiff spherical air bearing technology in each of its two axes, this provides a stiff metrology platform.
